Winter White

My mom taught me my fashion and beauty basics like applying mascara, how to put on lipstick, and not wearing sandals past September. Another one of those fashion tips my mom taught me was never to wear white below your waist after Labor Day. Especially during the winter. Well, this is my second time breaking the no white rule, and I think I'll continue to wear white pants this winter!
 I would actually wear this outfit to Christmas brunch or visiting with family. The sweater is festive and the pants give the outfit a bit of crispness! Here's my logic: Snow is white, which occurs during winter, so why can't my pants be white too? It's wishful thinking, but maybe if I wear these pants enough we'll get some snow. Kind of like a rain dance, but with clothing.
